GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

APCN accepts analytical reviews of books and films relevant in any way to African conflict or peace. Given our broad view of these subjects, a wide variety of titles are viable, but reviewers must make explicit the peace/conflict implications.
We accept unsolicited submissions, and prospective reviewers may also request items from our “Titles Available for Review” list (Please refer here).
Title requests must include name, mailing address, institutional affiliation, job title, and/or explanation of reviewer’s qualifications. If you receive a book from APCN, your completed review must be returned within 120 days of its receipt.

Submissions should be in correct English, but French and German submissions are accepted under the proviso of a possible longer review timeline.   Other languages accepted on an ad-hoc basis. If submitting papers in other languages, be aware that a) the review process might be extended considerably and b) you may be asked to provide a translated English copy, if reviewers are unavailable for the language.  Qualified reviewers for manuscripts in African languages are desired, and candidates are invited to send an English language CV or resume to info[at]africapeace[dot]org.
