2   Link   Near East Foundation (NEF)
Near East Foundation (NEF) maintains projects in Armenia, Egypt, Jordan, Mali, Morocco, Palestine and Sudan. NEF aims to expand its work in conflict affect areas to promote collaborative business activities and strengthen conflict management skills. New initiatives include Business Development with Ex-combatants in Sudan, Youth Development under USAID’s Morocco Local Governance Project Water Management and Agricultural Development in Arid Eastern Morocco, and Sustainable, Profitable Gum Arabic Production in Central Sudan.

4   Link   Arabic Network for Human Rights Information
The Arabic Network for Human Rights Information is a central repository for human rights information and websites in Arabic/English throughout the Middle East and North Africa. ANHRI collects the publications, campaigns, reports, and statements of the various human rights organizations, so that the daily product of those organizations will be available in one place and updated daily. The main interest of ANHRI is to increase the availability of local, regional, and international human rights organizations’ Arabic publications to researchers, the media, and the interested public.

6   Link   Cairo Institute for Human Rights Studies (CIHRS)
The Cairo Institute for Human Rights Studies (CIHRS) is an independent regional non-governmental organization founded in 1993. It aims at promoting respect for the principles of human rights and democracy, analyzing the difficulties facing the application of International Human Rights Law and disseminating Human Rights Culture in the Arab Region as well as engaging in dialogue between cultures in respect to the various International Human Rights treaties and Declarations. Website is in Arabic, French, and English.

The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing cooperation between nations and promoting active international engagement by the United States. Founded in 1910, its work is nonpartisan and dedicated to achieving practical results. The North Africa section provides commentary and analysis, policy research, speeches and other resources.
